CHARTER OF MEMBERSHIP
AN EVANGELICAL COVENANT CHURCH
“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor…”
Isaiah 61:3
In gratitude and humility to God for His grace given us in Jesus Christ, we, the undersigned, dedicate ourselves to establishing this congregation for the purpose of uniting Christians in fellowship for spiritual development; for persuading others through the testimony of our fellowship to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; for propagating the Holy Gospel through the preaching of the Word of God; and to join with our brothers and sisters in the Evangelical Covenant Church in the United States and abroad.
To this end, we shall unite in the unity of the Holy Spirit to use the gifts that God has given us to be salt and light in a world of darkness. To God be all the glory and honor. Amen.
